This game was great.

I will break it down one by one.

A few topics that always attract me are a different world, world travels, magic mirrors and things like that (Smark buster, 1000 door house) and this one did a great job especially since I chose Dario's story last.

The scene was great, really felt real, straight out of a Steven Kings Novel. It did the FAAAR better than the Bonfire stories finale and it was just a little bit better than Campfire stories. The whole horror / psy part felt great. I played The Shattering a while ago and this one really beats it.

The funniest (and most cruel) part was when Sophie asked her friends how to escape. "how did you find random objects in one place?" That's what HOP Mystery Games is all about, sweetheart.
When the game came to an end and the boys said they were dying, I really felt 'WTF HAPPENED HERE?' It was the first time ... I really felt the need to play the bonus chapter. Not for the "why bad guy did" part, but actually because I had questions. I like that way of thinking. So then it can certainly remain.

I played 2 Maze games before The Tower, but I was too scared to finish it. And the one before this one is really great. In my top games it goes together with Campfire Legends, the Snark-buster, House of 100-doors series and Dream Chronicles. I hope this is the new line for HOPs as it was BEAUTIUFLL

This game has been a very relaxing blast.
The plot was something you would expect for a game universe where time trafeling excist. But, I do have to say I didn't recosnize the family name Grey or the skull till In s aw the easteregg of Detevtive Leauge.
A question that raise me though thanks to the if the DL is a random groupe of people that can be always be used in a plot or that it was just a funny easter egg. However I did like it very much, simply because of the reason these kind of games aren't the best for eastereggs.
A thing that realy helped with the emotion of the game were the relaxing backgrounds and the pastel colors. Together with the modern style it was a breez
The best sentence I have ever hear a character use was 'I wonder wher ehe find these things' at the end of the bonus chapter. Because I always ask myself those question those. Locks in shape of pills, badges or star are fun, but is that some kind of Russian thing? I never saw those in real life.

Now, for the con part.
One thing I dislike was the pin-point hand in the hidden-object scenes. It became way to easy to find stuff if your cursor just change when it hover over.
The plot for the bonus chapter was very easy to guess. Could use some mroe dept.
And the last, there weren't that many areas in the game. Our own city, the mansion and the hospital, felt a bit... small for a game like this.

But overal it was a good and relaxing game, thanks to the sound effects it wasn't to much in your face.
Thanks for playing

One thing that I actually disliked was the introducing of the outlines, mostly with plus items, something that took away the thinking of the game a little.
Some aspects of the game were a little, unreal. Like the moment were the headperson tasers the officer in the park. Something I doubt would happen fro real. Another thing that got my attention was the so called fake-body of the wife. I highly doubt police officers being that stupid they would let themself being fooled by a fake, not talking about the corner. A little unreal for a game that would be happening in the 'real world'
I always have loved collectibels, but the combination of both statues, that aren't that well hidden, the pictures that got another color shade so they would jump in the eye to much and the coins you could give out in some Delicious Emily way makes me dislike them a little

The first thing that got my attention was the almost steampunk style of the game. The colors of the inventory combines with the dark scenes were amazing. Almost dawn like.
The logo of the company, the origami dog, was wellhidden inside the whole game, sometimes a little bit to much.
There is some fun in the game, like when you use a sugar donut to take fingerprints in the policestation. Does that actually works?
Some puzzle were new to me, like the elevator and the hose one.
The bonus chapter was actually a blast with a real nice twist. I think their was a movie once that had some kind of the same concept. It also makes me remember the fiveth game of the Phantasmat serie a little, in which the headperson tries to save her friends, but also it made me think of Saw for some reason.

over al it was a good game, but the developers have to cut back on the changes for a while, otherwise we might get to easy games

Sorry to say. But this game is realy bad. It's more like the old once where you have to find objects in random locations without a real story. Now it has a story and that makes ot only more frustrating.
Please stop these 'new' development or evolution because we don't need it.

If this is going to be the new way then in how many overviews can we get.
We already got plants in League of Light and now mist.
We can have... water, sand, ice. There isn't a big grow for this. Maybe it can become something on it's own, but if this is going to be the standard insteat of what we had... it will be crap.

And forcing every locatoin to be hide and seek, it seems lazy. As well as we are forced to use a map insteat of just 'walking'

Finnaly (Sorry for it being English)
I bought the first part 5 years ago and they say, in the extra menu. We don't put the end in it because it will leak on kwality. I expect great things. Yes I do, they had the time for 5 years.
